Terms of service
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Canvas2Google is a free student project that copies your Canvas assignments and events into Google Tasks and Google Calendar. By signing in, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Using the service
- Use only your own Canvas calendar feed and your own Google account.
- Don't try to access other people's data, get around the site's limits or security, or overload it. Automated or excessive requests may be blocked.
- You're responsible for keeping your Canvas feed link and Google account secure.
What the service does and doesn't promise
- Canvas2Google is provided “as is”, without any warranty. Syncs can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, for example if Canvas or Google change, or the service is down. Always check due dates in Canvas; Canvas is the source of truth, and Canvas2Google isn't responsible for missed deadlines.
- The service may change, pause, limit new accounts, or shut down at any time. Features and limits (like how often syncs run) may change.
- To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer isn't liable for any damages arising from using the service.
Your data
How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete my account. Events and tasks already copied to your Google account stay there unless you delete them.
Ending access
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Accounts that break these terms may be removed.
Not affiliated
Canvas2Google isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instructure (Canvas) or Google. “Canvas” and “Google” are trademarks of their respective owners.
